Greta MIchelle Joachim: Fine Artist and Potter
Pieces of My World II
As I mentioned last week I have been in planning phase in anticipation of this year studio activities. This included investing in a planner; more specifically a social media planner, various gel pens and more calendars than there are months in the year. Seriously though, here are seven tips I have used as part of my self-speak this week to start kicking the social media mountain.
leave a comment below to share your thougts and experiences. I'd love to hear from you.
I'm so excited cause next week I am back in studio. Two new features will be added to the blob: Clay Talk and Inspiration Wall will be added to the blog so please remember to subscribe to stay up to date on all the happenings.
Clay Talk will introduce you to the world of clay with how to demos in both image based or video format. Learn aboout wedging clay, about how I do handbuilding projects or how I throw on the wheel and pull up a simple cylinder. I will also post simple projects for those of you who might want to try a little handbuilding. I'll also be talking about the tools I use and shoing you how to make some of your own clay tools to cut cost and sharing tips that can help you repurpose things that you might have normally thrown away.
Inspiration Wall will be where we share ideas, photos of the week, people, artists, potters, interesting quotes that have inspired or sparked some creative thrust or have just gotten me out of a fugue. Feel free to drop a line in the comments or contact me if you find something you feel is inspiring to you and remember to hit that subscribe button so that you can stay up to date.
